Ink&Toner - Model BehaviorBackground:Ink&Toner is a new independent business looking to make an impact on the marketplace. Their goal is to offer brand-name-compatible print supply services. Those services come with an affordable rate for companies and persons who do not have large corporate contracts. Issue:Ink&Toner's focus is to cater to the small-scale consumer, which
includes free delivery. In a strategic marketing move, Ink & Toner
wanted to convert time on the road to an advertising opportunity. Solution:Malvin Williams, the Adnormous designer, wanted the vehicle to create the same effect as Cindy Crawford walking through a crowded room of men: you couldn't help but stare. The design had the message "Free Deliveries/Save Big Bucks." The wrap itself was yellow with ink spots of different colors splattered across the entire vehicle. The Result:The Owner, Keith Queen, said, "People can't stop talking about the car. They have become accustomed to the bright yellow car coming to 'save the day.'" He continued by stating, "There is no mistaking us when we drive up somewhere: Mission Accomplished."
