International Trucks - Winter Clearance Campaign

Background:

International Truck is a leading producer of medium trucks, heavy trucks, severe service vehicles, mid-range diesel engines, parts, and service.  International and its affiliates sell their products, parts, and services through a network of nearly 1,000 dealer outlets in the United States, Canada, Brazil, and Mexico from more than 60 dealers in 90 countries throughout the world

Objective:

International Trucks wanted to provide their dealers with a simple marketing solution to help move inventory.  The idea was to use point-of-purchase materials and direct mail as a means to communicate "The Winter Clearance Event" to their customers.

Goal:

The marketing challenge was not only to communicate to customers the special event and promotion but to also provide the dealers with a simple, fast, and convenient way to order marketing material.  International wanted to find a marketing fulfillment solution.

Result:

International and Adnormous developed postcards for direct mail customized by dealer, window graphics, posters, and banners for POP display.  The Postcards were sent out on behalf of the dealers--complete with relevant addresses by Adnormous that were quickly followed up via telemarketing.  The POP materials were designed and manufactured by Adnormous and ordered directly by the International dealers to suit their individual requirements.  Adnormous provided International the fulfillment solution they required.

A spokesman for International said, "I am happy that Adnormous came up with an environmentally friendly solution by suggesting biodegradable banner material.  International is a company always looking for ways to support conservation of the environment."  He further stated, "The Winter Clearance Event project was a great success, and we look forward to doing similar campaigns with Adnormous in the near future."
